You find value at the intersection of price and quality.
A long time back (almost 20 years now), I worked for a retail chain. One of the buyers I supported at the time liked to talk about finding "value" at the intersection of "price" and "quality". This concept has stuck with me ever since, but over the past few years it has evolved. As we think about how we design and make your Sticky Toffee Textiles, we always keep our customers' definition of "value" in mind.
What makes an item "Sticky Toffee?"
When we consider what makes an item "Sticky Toffee", we want to exist at the place where the right quality meets the right design, as well as the right number of pieces, in the right way. The right quality should be able to withstand a reasonable amount of use. No, it's not going to last forever, but it also isn't going to fall apart the first time you wash it. The right design should be able to live in your home not just this month, but throughout the year if it's an everyday item, and for multiple years if it's a seasonally themed design. The right number of pieces won't fill your kitchen drawers with unused pieces, but you'll have enough to get you through a week without having to do the laundry every day.
You matter. The environment matters. Our employees matter.
Delivering all of this to you in the right way is the glue. We treat all our workers with dignity and respect. We treat the environment as if it were our own back yard. And we treat our customers the way we would like to be treated. Sticky Toffee Textiles won't always be the least expensive, nor will they be the most. They won't last forever but they won't fail the first time you use them. But they will always be manufactured ethically and responsibly and you can trust that if something doesn't meet your expectations, we will take care of it. We want our products to live in the "sweet spot" where price, quality, design, and compassion intersect. Have a question for us?
